Zarina Bhimji

This chapter in Cotton’s book The Photograph As Contemporary Art’ “Considers how photography can bear witness to the ways lof life and events of the world.

Usually contemporay art photographers have, “in the main, taken an anti-reportage stance: slowing down image making, remaining out of the hub of action, and ariving after the decisive moment.”

Zarina Bhimji is from Uganda and her work is person as well as documentation of what she found in her home country.
